Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives.Labcorp is seeking a Bilingual English/Spanish Customer Service Support Rep - Patient Customer Service within the Revenue Cycle Management Division to join our team.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 11am to 8pm (EST), 10am to 7pm (CST), 9am to 6pm (MST) and 8am to 5pm (PST).2nd shift differential applicable for applicants that reside in EST.Training hours: 9am to 6pm ESTResponsibilitiesAnswer 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor's office and/or private insurance carriers in English and Spanish.Initiate payment plans for patients for outstanding balances.Routinely utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phoneMaintain performance goalsAbility to become proficient with processes after completing a structured training program.Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentBilingual English and Spanish1 year or more customer service experiencePreferred Qualifications1 year or more call center experience1 year or more medical billing, insurance claims, and explanation of benefits (EOB)1 year or more patient billingAdditional Job StandardsAbility to work and learn in a fast-paced environmentProfessionally fluent in both English and Spanish, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service in Spanish, ensuring clear and effective communication with Spanish-speaking clientsAttention to detail and focusedPerform successfully in a team environmentExcellent organizational skillsProficiency navigating multiple computer screens and applicationsAlpha-Numeric data entry proficiencyExcellent communication skillsEnergetic, passionate customer serviceSeek solutions to challenging patient billing issuesPay Range: $17.75- $21.00 an hourAll job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.At Labcorp, you are part of a journey to accelerate life-changing healthcare breakthroughs and improve the delivery of care for all.
