Senior Product Designer at Appcues

• As the Senior Designer embedded on our Insights team, you will research, design, and test intuitive user experiences to execute the strategy "Provide our customers deep insights into user behavior & how Appcues experiences influence it." As a second priority, you'll collaborate with Lisa on designs for our other product teams. • You will collaborate with product managers and engineers throughout our problem brief, solution discovery, design, and development process to deliver delightful user experiences. On a typical day, you may review problem briefs, conduct customer research, lead brainstorming sessions, craft mocks or prototypes, or synthesize customer feedback in insights from testing. • As an advocate for the customer, you will conduct feedback sessions over zoom with customers to uncover pain points, validate ideas, and test solutions. • As a critical member of the design team, you will have ownership of our UI design system. You will enhance our UI patterns to ensure consistency, usability, and efficiency and elevate our product's visual design. • You will be responsible for crafting UX copy and collaborating with the marketing team to shape our UX copy voice and tone. • Our product process starts with a written problem brief and customer research. After narrowing the problem down it goes into discovery (with the product manager lead, tech lead, and design lead) to find a viable solution that assesses the four main risks. In discovery, we use our design process to research and refine the problem then ideate, design, test to arrive at the final solution.
