Requirements and responsibilities

You will be starting, leading, and developing one of our curriculum teams. Your day-to-day work will be constantly changing, but your main responsibilities are: • Determine the best way for videos to be used in instruction. Videos can be so much more than a recorded lecture, but aren’t the same as a classroom teacher. How should videos play a role in instruction? What type of videos do students, teachers, and administrators want? You need to answer these questions and find the ideal curriculum and video structure to support instruction. • Develop a process to scale curriculum production. Once we know the ideal structure of a video, we need to build processes that allow us to develop it at scale. You will be responsible for building the processes, systems, and criteria needed to build videos covering all content for grades K-12 for your subject area. • Build, Train, and Onboard content and video production teams. You will manage a team of 3+ people (illustrators, designers, animators, etc.) in producing video lessons. Over time, you will oversee a growing team of teachers and video producers to plan and build video lessons at scale.
Optionally, you can add more information later (benefits, pre-screening questions, etc.)
