Wireless Engineer will design, implement and maintain wireless network for Bulk properties Multi Dwelling Units.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct site surveys and analyze property layouts requirements to develop wireless network solutionsDesign and implement wireless network infrastructure, including access points and antennasConfigure and manage wifi access points, controllers, and related network equipment.Collaborate with internal teams to resolve wireless network issues or advise on optimizationMaintain documentation of network configurations, changes, and incidents.Provide training and technical guidance to clients and other team members.Create documentation outlining network topology, standards, and proceduresStay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancementsConduct regular performance monitoring and reporting of Wi-Fi networksStakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with other departments, including IT, Network Engineering/Operations, Finance, and Customer Support, to ensure seamless delivery of video services.Collaborate with vendors and partners to evaluate and integrate new technologies and services.Engage with customers to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction with Wi-Fi services.Technical Competencies:Experience with Ruckus or Calix equipment or EquivalentExperience with Ruckus One, Smartzone, Calix Cloud or EquivalentHands-on experience with Ekahau Pro, Ekahau Sidekick, Ekahau Analyzer or Hamina Onsite/Hamina Network PlannerStrong understanding of RF principles, signal propagation, and interference sourcesAt least 3-5 years of experience in wireless network engineering, design, and implementationProven experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex network issuesStrong knowledge of wireless networking protocols (e.g. 802.11, Bluetooth, Zigbee)Experience in configuring and managing wifi access points, controllers, and related equipmentSolid understanding of network security principles and best practicesProficient in conducting site surveys and performing network troubleshootingAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsSkills, Knowledge & ExpertiseBachelor’s degree in technology or equivalent lead-level design, configuration and installation experience in an applicably sized network.  Experience in wireless engineering, with a focus on controller based systems.Proven experience in managing wireless systems and physical installation.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent project management abilities.In-depth knowledge of wireless protocols as applied to client implementations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong laboratory methodology, metrics and integration techniques; Experience with flow charts and programming logic; documenting lab results and generating various reportsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Job BenefitsMedical, Dental and VisionPTO & Holidays401K + MatchLife InsuranceFSA & HSAShort Term/Long Term DisabilityLegal Plan Support & EAPAbout Blue Stream FiberBlue Stream Fiber has over 45 years of industry experience, servicing Florida with amazing internet, TV, and phone products.
