Backed by one of the largest North American infrastructure funds, Cologix's experienced leadership team, certified staff and commitment to ESG initiatives help form a culture that values our people, our environment and our clients.About the Position: Cologix is seeking a talented, pragmatic and driven team member to join its Legal Department to help perform contract management functions for the company throughout its North American operations, with an emphasis on the support of commercial matters. This individual must have the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment, and to work proactively and capably with all the teams across the organization including, Finance, Sales, Design and Construction, Operations, Human Resources, Marketing and Customer Care. In addition to supporting internal business partners, this individual will support legal department initiatives and legal operations programs to facilitate continued growth of the company.Position Responsibilities:Support commercial transactions, including drafting and negotiating customer and vendor agreements, assisting with deal desk and contract review activities, and deal and contract structuring; the role will include supporting sales to hyperscalers and other very large customers.Risk consultation and contracting review of various documents.Ongoing and post-execution risk management and contracting support.Work with cross-functional teams to build and enhance internal processes related to the contract lifecycle; supporting strategic initiatives pertaining to development and improvement of processes, tools, and templates.Provide day to day contract guidance to ensure the company’s best interests are being maintainedWhat makes you a good fit (Qualifications):10+ years of commercial and transactional experience as a contract manager in houseExperience in commercial contract drafting and negotiationsExcellent negotiation skills including experience negotiating complex terms and conditionsOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with negotiation counterparties, executive management and staff regarding legal issues with high degrees of complexity and the ability to work issues to resolutionExcellent execution skills, including the ability to prioritize critical needs, act decisively, and handle a high volume of complex tasksHigh sense of urgency and accountability in a fast-paced work environmentWillingness to learn about the data center industry and its unique legal aspectsAdditional Qualifications (not required):Experience in the data center and/or telco industriesBenefits:We offer a competitive benefit package for full-time employees that includes:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceCompany paid Life InsuranceVoluntary supplemental life insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth savings accountNon-accrued PTOShort- and Long-Term DisabilityCompany paid holidays401k Retirement Plan with employer matchMental Wellness BenefitsTuition ReimbursementPaid Parental LeaveEmployee Discount MarketplaceEmployee Recognition PlatformIndividual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience.
