We are headquartered in Miami, FL, with a strong South American team, and have clients and partners in the US market across multiple industries. Among other accolades, we are a 5-time Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies in America honoree. We are looking to expand our roster with a Java Solution Architect located in Latin America to join a client-facing team through a staff augmentation engagement. This role requires deep expertise in backend architecture, distributed systems, and enterprise-grade platforms. The ideal candidate is a hands-on architect who can design scalable, high-performance systems while guiding engineering teams and collaborating closely with stakeholders. We are looking for: - 10+ years of professional software engineering experience. - 4+ years in Solution Architecture or Technical Leadership roles. - Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot in production environments. - Proven experience designing and implementing distributed systems and microservices. - Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka preferred). - Strong experience with AWS or other cloud environments. - Solid understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and system reliability. - Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives. - Advanced English communication skills. Nice to have: - Experience with GraphQL APIs. - Exposure to React or TypeScript. - Experience integrating AI-driven or ML-based components. - Background in high-traffic or enterprise-scale platforms.
