About the RoleWe're looking for a Finance Data Analyst to join our growing finance team, reporting directly to the CFO. This is a hands-on role at the heart of a global high growth B2B SaaS business, where you'll be in charge of reporting and transforming data for the business and executive team.What you will do:Data Management & GovernanceOwn and maintain data relationships across finance, operations, commercial and exec teams to ensure data integrity and consistencyDevelop and document data dictionaries, mapping business logic to underlying data sourcesReview and work with Data Engineering to establish and enforce data quality standards, identifying and resolving discrepancies proactivelyHelp to manage integrations between core business systems (ERP, CRM, billing platforms) and reporting infrastructureReporting & VisualisationMaintain and enhance the business intelligence/visualisation platform (Gooddata), ensuring dashboards remain timely, accurate, and user-friendlyBuild and refine automated reporting pipelines to reduce manual effort and improve timelinessTroubleshoot data issues and respond to ad-hoc reporting requests from stakeholdersFinance & Board ReportingPrepare and populate monthly and quarterly finance reports including internal reporting tracker data and summariesCompile board reporting packs with accurate KPIs, variance analysis, and trend commentarySupport the finance team during month-end and year-end close processes with data extraction and reconciliationWhat we are looking for2+ years' experience in a data analyst, finance analyst, or BI role, ideally within a SaaS or technology environmentStrong proficiency in working with BI/visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)Solid SQL skills with the ability to write and optimise queries across multiple data sourcesAdvanced Excel/Google Sheets skills including complex formulas and pivot tablesStrong understanding of core financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and key SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, LTV)Excellent communication skills—able to translate complex data into clear narratives for senior leadership and non-technical stakeholdersSelf-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, scaling environment and is comfortable building processes from the ground upAny experience with Python, R, or data transformation tools (e.g., dbt) is a plusWhen you join our team, you’re stepping into a culture built on momentum, ownership, and clarity of purpose.
