🚀 We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented English-speaking Bookkeeper and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our client's team and contribute to their financial operations while ensuring compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (USGAAP). As a critical finance department member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance. 🔵 Qualifications: ◽ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ◽ Fluency in Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages. ◽ Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accountant, preferably in a US-based organization. ◽ Experience with U.S. individual and business income taxes is a nice-to-have. ◽ Knowledge of USGAAP and U.S. tax laws is a nice-to-have. ◽ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. ◽ Tech Savvy (you will be working a lot in the cloud). ◽ Attention to detail and high accuracy in financial reporting and analysis. ◽ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. ◽ Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 🔵 Responsibilities: ◽ Maintain and manage financial records under USGAAP, consistently adhering to accounting principles and practices. ◽ Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements. ◽ Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely, accurate payments and collections. ◽ Conduct financial analyses, budgeting, and forecasting to support decision-making and strategic planning. ◽ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations for optimizing operational efficiencies and cost savings. ◽ Prepare tax filings and assist in tax planning to ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations. ◽ Assist in the year-end audit process and liaise with auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations. ◽ Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure our financial practices remain compliant with evolving standards. 🔵 Benefits: ◽ Base salary in US Dollars. ◽ Remote environment. ◽ Work from home. ◽ Working for a US-based business. ◽ Possibility of being sponsored by the company to work and live in the U.S. ✨ Join our client's team and be an integral part of their organization, contributing to financial success while helping them maintain compliance with USGAAP. 📣 We are excited to review your application and consider you for this exciting opportunity.
