DescriptionSubstack is creating a new economic engine for culture, empowering creators with their own publishing platform.The Sponsorships Team aims to enhance the direct subscriptions model with paid sponsorships while maintaining user experience and trust.The role involves leading iOS development, mentoring, and contributing to product direction and brainstorming.RequirementsMinimum 3+ years of software engineering experience.Proven experience shipping high-quality native iOS apps to the App Store; familiarity with SwiftUI and UIKit is a bonus.Must be independent, autonomous, and capable of leading projects without micromanagement.High standards for production systems and a focus on creating delightful product experiences.Collaborative mindset with a belief in Substack's mission to improve the business model for writing.Experience in a fast-growing startup or high-performing growth team is a plus.BenefitsCompetitive salary range of $140,000 - $260,000, determined by experience and expertise.Equity for all full-time roles and exceptional benefits.
