Requirements and responsibilities

Core Values: - Do the right thing: we do the right thing even when nobody is watching. - Commit: the difference between commitment and involvement is like ham and eggs. The chicken is involved; the pig is committed. - Care: we care deeply about our people, our clients, and our impact. - Communicate: we say what we mean and we keep everyone informed. - Pursue quality: we are reliable, consistent, and we pursue excellence. - Adapt: we adapt, learn, and evolve in dynamic environments. - Be friendly: we are friendly, competent, and supportive. Assessing Cultural Fit: - A great cultural fit is someone with great alignment with the Jobsity Values. - Specifically for this role, a strong cultural fit is a person who embodies Commit, Care and Pursue Quality first and foremost. - These are the non-negotiable Values for an SDR. General Description: - We are hiring a high-energy, results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales organization. - Must be based in Houston, Texas, or the Greater Houston area. - This role focuses 100% on outbound prospecting, booking high-quality meetings, and generating new pipeline for either IT Staff Augmentation (Technology BU) or CC & BPO Staffing (Contact Center/BPO BU). - You will specialize in ONE of these two verticals depending on your experience and strengths, but the competencies required for success remain aligned across both. - The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands how to engage senior decision-makers, and has a true passion for generating new business. - Success during the first 90 days would mean that the SDR has completed onboarding, gained a solid understanding of Jobsity’s services, ideal customer profiles, sales messaging, and assigned business unit, and is consistently executing the expected outbound activities. Trial Period Expectations: - Independently manage multi-channel prospecting through cold calls, email sequences, LinkedIn, and social selling. - Identify and prioritize relevant accounts and decision-makers in the U.S. and Canadian markets. - Conduct effective initial discovery and qualify opportunities based on need, urgency, budget, volume, and operational or technical fit. - Consistently meet the agreed activity and meeting-booking targets. - Generate qualified pipeline and provide Account Executives with complete, accurate handoff notes. - Maintain reliable CRM documentation and accurate activity and pipeline reporting. - Demonstrate resilience, coachability, organization, strong communication, and alignment with Jobsity’s values. - Build enough knowledge of the assigned vertical—IT Staff Augmentation or CC & BPO Staffing—to confidently discuss the prospects’ main business challenges. - A strong 90-day outcome would be that the SDR is operating with limited supervision, producing a consistent flow of qualified meetings, and showing clear potential to achieve the role’s long-term pipeline and revenue expectations. Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation: - Execute multi-channel outbound outreach: cold calling, email sequences, social selling, LinkedIn messaging. - Identify and prioritize high-value accounts aligned with Jobsity’s ICPs. - Research and map decision-makers in the US & Canada. Lead Qualification: - Conduct discovery to assess fit for nearshore staffing needs. - Validate urgency, volume, budget alignment, and technical/operational context. - Document all qualification notes clearly in Salesforce or the assigned CRM. Meeting Setting & Handoff: - Book qualified meetings for Account Executives. - Prepare AE handoff notes with context, objections, signals of interest, and account details. CRM & Reporting: - Maintain accurate daily activity logs and pipeline updates. - Track KPIs: calls, emails, LinkedIn touchpoints, meetings booked, qualified pipeline. - Share market insights with Marketing and Revenue Leadership teams. IT Staff Augmentation Focus: - Target CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Directors of Product, Engineering Managers. - Engage prospects around challenges related to scaling engineering teams, SDLC bottlenecks, project roadmaps, and hiring velocity. CC & BPO Staffing Focus: - Target VPs of Operations, CX Directors, Contact Center Managers, HR & Talent Leaders. - Engage prospects around challenges such as attrition, ramp-up needs, SLA pressure, shift coverage, and operational continuity. Experience: - One to three years in an SDR, BDR, outbound sales, or pipeline-generation role, including experience selling to the North American market. - Proven track record of meeting quotas (meetings booked, activities, or pipeline generated). - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - English level: C1 minimum. - Experience selling into North American markets. - Hands-on experience with CRM and sales engagement platforms (Salesloft, Outreach, Apollo, HubSpot, Salesforce).
