We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Body Design & Release Engineer to join our team. As a Body Design & Release Engineer, you will be responsible for the engineering, design, development, timing, and production release of Restraints components and systems such as Side Airbags, Curtain Airbags and Seatbelt systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate design and development of interior systems, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the design and release processes.The area we are seeking currently to cover are:Body Restraints / Side Airbags, Curtain Airbags and Seatbelt systemsLocation: MéxicoExperience Level: 0-1 yearEnglish: B2–C1Full-time | EngineeringValid visa is optionalThe Body D&R Engineer is responsible for the component and system level design, development, validation, timing and production release of the following areas: Restraints Basic Qualifications:Experience: 0 to 1 year of experience related to reviewing, validating, and releasing designs for automotive components (chassis components).CATIA V5/3DX or NX (for 3D/2D model review).PLM (Teamcenter) (documentation and release management).Knowledge: Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.Manufacturing processesPBOM, eBOM, DVP&R, and technical sheets management.Language: Intermediate-advanced English (technical comprehension and international team communication).Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs.Knowledge of style freeze processes and theme evaluation.In-plant experience (tool tryouts, assembly, program launch).Familiarity with automotive quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949).Soft Skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Leadership in technical decision-making. Ability to collaborate across suppliers, validation, manufacturing and purchasing.
