Main requirements were the I18n feature should be modular, easy to use and low overhead on browser as well APIs. Some high level requirements were - The functionality should be designed such that it can be used as directive, filter and service. - The language can be selected and changed at any point while browsing the aplication. - Multilingual data can contain special characters which may break the HTML or JS. So they need to be handled. The above requirement was fulfilled using AngularJS framework and Angular Translate module.
