I am a Colombian mathematician with minors in Italian, economics and creative writing. Currently, I am working as a data scientist and as a teaching assistant. In the former, I develop models based on algebra, probability and optimization intended to support decision-making and improve processes in an E-Commerce startup. The latter is part of a financial support I was awarded in order to complete a Master’s degree in mathematics focused on applied math, specially optimization, statistics and applied algebra. Carry out both responsibilities simultaneously has strengthen my discipline and has been a benefit to my employers since the knowledge and skills I am acquiring at college are easily applicable to data science and industry.
