My professional path has been multidirectional; here’s my attempt at summarizing that path.
I’ve peppered my experience between employment and entrepreneurial work, exposing my versatility, adaptability, and independence. I’m a natural problem solver with an expansive pool of experiential data to keep my creativity in check. Creative and analytical traits are probably the primary creditors to my wide-ranging skill set.
Generalists still need a gravitational footing in the form of a specialty, either by starting out as specialists or by expanding their varying knowledge base around a particular subject, sufficiently overlapping to be considered a specialty. The majority of my skill-sets appear to revolve around marketing. Marketing could be considered a generalistic domain in and of itself, encompassing business, psychology, creativity, analytics, technology, and the need to remain adaptable in this ever-changing climate.
