    I was tasked with designing a business model for a multi-use creative space that would integrate with a school, a nonprofit, businesses and residents all on the same property. We used a combination of Lean Startup and Human Centered Design to flush out the expectations and needs of the community and potential users of the space. The result was a comprehensive outline for what could be a self-sustaining creative space which had outlined participants and revenue projections, along with an organizational structure and operational plan.

    I was responsible for project management, DevOps, and video production management for creating an online medical education platform and 40 credit-hour course meant for international launch. This project required more than 200 hours of video production and editing time, along with an equal amount of development time. The platform was built with a Flash front-end (at the time) and the back-end used an open source content management tools (ILIAS). This project was fast-paced, conceived in early 2008 and launched in summer 2008 at the Toronto International Wound Care conference. Year 1 revenues from this effort exceeded $200,000.

    I was responsible for product management, DevOps and overall design of a prototype mobile electronic records management system. This system was meant to help mobile care providers enter and store data securely, and use visual aids and suggestions to give providers more information to make informed, clinical decisions. This product was also going to streamline the billing process. The project also included utilization of early-stage mobile hardware and technology that would allow for entering case data anywhere, a precursor to the "mobile-first" method of development common today. This project was completed and presented to our client in 2008.

In order to evaluate the efficacy of HBOT in treating osteoradionecrosis, more than 1,000 patients were entered. This site was reviewed and approved by the Aurora Health Care IRB.

This technology was used as multi-spectral imaging on satellites, and was tested for use in diagnosing physiological issues, both superficial and subcutaneous. The study lasted 6 months, during which time I was entrusted with technical operation and security of the multi-spectral imaging apparatus.

    Working with Aurora Healthcare's Investigative Review Board, I was trained as an investigator and hired to build a web tool that would capture, manage and allow reporting on the largest retrospective study of hyperbaric oxygen therapy in history. This was done with one of the leading researchers and clinicians in the field, the late Eric P. Kindwall, MD. This study cataloged more than 30,000 case records and provided a web interface for secure data entry. I was responsible for overall design, information security and DevOps.
