    1998 - 2000 (2 years 1 month)
Canada - I was Artistic and Technical Director of a VRML/Java project to create a 'Virtual University' for TechBC University in British Columbia - I designed and managed the project using VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) with interactivity in Javascript and communications in Java. The campus used streamed video lectures in a hall and shared audio spaces in special 'domes'. We also held our meetings in the audio domes so we 'ate our own dogfood' and proved the usefulness of the shared communication. The project involved Blaxxun in Germany and Lifeforms in Vancouver as well as a remote distributed team of designers and 3D modelers.

researcher and software engineer in WebGL

OpenGL. The company had a great interest in my angular2 Dome system, and even before officially beginning employment I sent studies in embedding html/css3/svg interfaces immersively in angular2-webGL, and a study in declarative web3D in which I have deep experience. My first company work was in 3D augmented reality and in an experimental pointcloud morph-target system I implemented in several ways (which I cannot explain due to confidentiality restrictions I fully respect). I then did experimental work on an OpenGL-Lua implementation (which I also cannot detail). Finally I worked on an open-ended project to combine three.js and webGL for CPU-GPU communications, and GLSL shader code for very sophisticated and efficient rendering of comb
