I work at the local soup kitchen putting out lunch every Wednesday. I work in a group of 3-4 but we rotate around, so sometimes I am by myself, sometimes everyone is there. When there are additional people, I am the one that is mostly in charge, but we all know how to do this (one other can do this by themselves, but some of our volunteers are lower-functioning adults). This free lunch serves 10-15 people each day. I also serve as a back-up person to answer questions for newer volunteers for other groups for lunch or dinner when our fearless leader is unavailable.

I help to teach adults who are seeking their basic high school equivalency degree, which for Missouri is currently the HiSET. We were able to have 8 graduates in 2016, an awesome increase from the 5 in 2015, and hope to have even more next year as we have begun a partnership with JCAEL, and are getting DESE backing once again.
