    Led the development of an immersive simulator for virtual training in Unreal Engine 4, involving hardware peripherals and image processing systems. I worked as the project manager and also as a lead developer on gameplay, physics, material/shader and socket communication. All coding was made using both blueprints and C++. I was able to bring elements from game design to this : quest creation , user engagement and UX . A workflow was set for asset creation, starting from 3D modeling in Blender/Solid Works then material creation in Substance Painter to finally import the fnished 3D asset inside Unreal Engine 4.     Research project studying vehicle HUDs Implemented a car simulator on Unity 3D intended for measuring the effectivity of diferent human-machine interfaces while a subject is interacting with a HUD. Specific hardware interfaces were integrated using both native and external libraries: Microsoft Kinect 360 (for voice recognition), Genius racing wheel (for driving and button based interaction) and VRPN (for gesture commands through a 5DT data glove). Complementary technologies like Oculus Rift and Myo Armband where studied but ultimately not included in the final product. Thanks to this to project, 1 publication, 1 poster and one patent where made.
