I build financial infrastructure that connects traditional payment systems with Bitcoin.
Currently CTO at Mooze, where I design and implement backend systems enabling payments between Brazil’s Pix network and Bitcoin-based rails. My work focuses on building reliable, high-performance services that interact with Bitcoin, Lightning, and Liquid while maintaining the principles of self-custody and open financial access.
I specialize in Rust-based distributed systems used in financial and payment infrastructure.
My work includes:
• Designing backend systems for Bitcoin, Lightning, and Liquid payments
• Building high-concurrency services in Rust using Tokio
• Architecting wallet infrastructure and transaction orchestration systems
• Developing payment pipelines interacting with both traditional and crypto rails
• Designing high-reliability systems using Postgres, Redis, and gRPC
Before working on Bitcoin infrastructure, I spent several years as a data engineer, building large-scale data pipelines and fraud detection systems on AWS.
I remain deeply involved in hands-on engineering while also leading system architecture and mentoring developers.
