Senior HR Executive
Great Falls, Virginia, United States
I build HR functions that drive business outcomes — not just manage people processes.
With 20+ years of progressive HR leadership across global development, tech, AEC, nonprofit, and higher education, I partner with CEOs, CPOs, and Boards to align human capital strategy with organizational mission and growth. My work sits at the intersection of strategic vision and operational execution — I design the frameworks and then build the infrastructure to make them real.
What that's looked like in practice:
• 19% improvement in employee retention through data-driven engagement strategy and career pathing frameworks
• Gallup Q12 score of 4.05/5 — enterprise-wide, with department-level accountability structures
• Two consecutive Great Place to Work® certifications (2024–2025)
• 40% reduction in benefits spend through broker strategy, vendor renegotiation, and plan redesign — without compromising employee value
I specialize in HR transformation — building analytics infrastructure, modernizing HRIS/ATS ecosystems, designing job architecture and leveling frameworks, and leading the change management required for adoption to actually stick.
I'm also deeply invested in what's next. I'm actively studying the intersection of AI and people strategy — exploring how AI tools are reshaping talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance enablement, and the CHRO function itself. My goal is to lead organizations through this shift, not catch up to it.
My leadership philosophy: culture is intentional, compliance is non-negotiable, and people data should drive every major workforce decision.
Areas of focus:
• Enterprise HR & People Strategy
• HR Transformation & HRIS Modernization
• AI in HR & the Future of Work
• Workforce Analytics & Planning
• Total Rewards & Compensation
• Employee Relations & Engagement
• Talent Management & Succession
