In love with teaching, learning, literature and life, I have been a high school English teacher and drama director for over 35 years. I also have a masters in counseling and psychotherapy, which is, perhaps, why I have always been a compassionate, empathic listener to students, colleagues and friends. I have edited one novel, which I thoroughly enjoyed doing, and hundreds of high school college essays. I have self-published 13 poetry booklets, and have also enjoyed writing song lyrics and painting. I enjoy , as well, creating art sculptures from garbage, and have 15 life-size sculptures, most of which I had to leave in Caracas, Venezuela, where I am from, when I left the country in 2004 due to the terrible political situation. I am a team player and love the camaraderie of working with others.
