I began my developer journey in 2015 at General Assembly in San Francisco CA after a few years of graduate school and becoming disillusioned about the health of the academic environment. At the same time my interest in languages and technology continued to merge into what became my desire to pursue programming as a profession as well as a personal interest.
Since then I have contributed to open source projects such as Gatsby and Operation Code. I have also worked as an intern developer and subsequently as an all around technologist at Valor Network. I have since worked as a Team Lead at Lambda school in a remote position and am now in my current role at iCRco as the Lead Web Developer while also contributing to the development team for our X-ray acquisition and processing software.
