As a Learning Architect at Wayne State University, I've found my passion lies in crafting engaging educational experiences that genuinely resonate with learners. My journey began with a solid foundation in Learning Design and Technology, allowing me to contribute to innovative eLearning initiatives prioritizing user experience. One of my proudest moments was leading the creation of our Learning Management System (LMS), which significantly enhanced learning accessibility for our staff. Before joining Wayne State, I spent nearly four years at Rocket Mortgage, where I had the opportunity to redesign curricula for over 250 employees. This role taught me the importance of effective pedagogical strategies and how they can transform learning. I also played a key role in onboarding 100 new hires, ensuring they felt welcomed and prepared to thrive from day one.Throughout my career, I've always been drawn to collaboration. Whether facilitating over 50 technical instructor-led classes during my internship at Rocket Mortgage or working alongside faculty at Central Michigan University to enhance instructional technology tools, I believe great things happen when we come together with a shared vision.Outside of work, I've enjoyed being involved in various educational roles—from substitute teaching to GED prep instruction—where I could foster student engagement and adapt my teaching style to meet diverse needs. These experiences have enriched my understanding of how different learning environments impact student success. I'm excited about the future of education technology and am always eager to connect with others who share this passion.
