In 2012, I found myself on an oil rig in the Persian Gulf, working 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week, for 3.5 months.
I realized I wasn't living up to my true potential and needed a change.
I told the oil rig captain I want the first helicopter off the rig or I was going to jump into the ocean.
Back home in Los Angeles, after a few senior consultants left the company, I marched into the office on my day off.
I told the owner, "I know my value and worth to the company, I need a raise or I'll be looking for other opportunities."
That same day, I got a call from my friend and Director of Ops... the owner wanted me fired.
Six months later, I purchased my first real estate investment in Chicago and never looked back.
Here are a few things I’ve done:
→ Built a 25 single-family rental portfolio from 2015 to 2019 while working a full-time W2 sales engineer job.
→ Achieved financial freedom by 32 from passive rental income.
→ Built 100% remote companies from Los Angeles, operating in Chicago.
Now, I run multiple 7-figure businesses:
- Altus Investment Group - Real estate private equity
- My Handyman Express - Construction management
- Urban REI - Property management
As a business builder and investor for over a decade, I'm on a mission to help other entrepreneurs, business owners, and high performers turn their profits into time freedom.
