I’m a senior backend engineer with more than nine years of experience building and supporting business-critical software. My recent work has focused on backend systems behind billing, payments, accounting workflows and third-party integrations. I currently work on a SaaS platform used by accounting and professional services firms, contributing across Node.js and TypeScript services, Java integrations, PostgreSQL, AWS and Terraform. I initially took ownership of support and maintenance for the platform and its QuickBooks Online and Desktop integrations. My scope has since expanded to invoicing, recurring billing, Stax payment flows, reporting, production troubleshooting and infrastructure changes. I’m also leading the design and implementation of a new QuickBooks integration service in Node.js and TypeScript, with a strong focus on reliable synchronization, recovery, observability and controlled rollouts. I participate in technical design, peer reviews, knowledge sharing and QA support within a cross-functional team. I’m comfortable ramping up quickly in unfamiliar technologies when the problem requires it. I’m open to remote Senior Backend Engineer or Senior Software Engineer roles where I can own complex integrations and business-critical systems.
