Spanish-English-Spanish freelance translator with 15+ years of experience, mainly with scientific and academic articles for several universities and private clients in my country, which have been submitted for different national and international journals in Europe, Africa, and the United States. Some of my areas of expertise involve natural, agricultural, and food sciences, as well as biology, medicine, mining, and various engineering types (e.g., electronic, forest, civil, and other disciplines), along with legal, financial, commercial, and corporate documents. I have experience with sustainable development, gender and gender-based violence, community, environmental and corporate responsibility affairs, and literary translation. An active interpreter, obtaining over 10,000 hours during the past 5 years in military, cybersecurity, business, academic, protocol and diplomacy, church, IT, and other topics in different trainings, meetings, conferences, seminars, master's degrees, and other events for companies and private clients. Likewise, I am proficient in the use of IT technologies, word processing, format creation, and Al and software use. Furthermore, I have translated up to 300,000 words in a year and participated in subtitling and voiceover projects for national and international clients both directly and through translation agencies. My experience as an educator for over 20 years in particular classes, universities, and language institutes at all levels (A1 to C1 within the CEFR) has honed my skills as a creative, dynamic, and sociable person with students, clients, and colleagues.
