Julia Horeczky

I’m a recent Physics grad with a passion for using data to understand (and improve!) the world around us. With a specialization in Biophysics and a minor in Computer Science, I’ve found my sweet spot at the intersection of science, code, and curiosity.During my internships at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories and Elekta, I dove into everything from experimental heat flow analysis to strategic tech assessments. I’ve wrangled data with Python, built predictive models, and even presented research at a nuclear conference, all while learning how to ask better questions and tell clearer stories with data.Most recently, I tackled a machine learning project that grew out of my work at CNL, exploring how algorithms can predict the properties of advanced nuclear materials (yes, it was as cool as it sounds).I’m now on the lookout for opportunities in data analysis, ML, or research support where I can put my skills, and my love for solving tough problems to good use.Check out what I’ve been building on GitHub: github.com/Juliaeh17
