  • R
RNA seq analysis of Solanum lycopersicum using NGS standalone tools.
    Jul 2018 - Current (8 years)
The study focused on the study of the up-regulated and down-regulated gene through transcriptome analysis, the prediction of molecular markers of Solanum lycopersicum L and to computationally design primers and validate them. The primers generated in the study represents valuable resources that will become the foundation for the study of fruit ripening and developmental stage of tomato which further help in the future advancements in genetic as well as molecular studies.
  • V
Variant calling of Helicobacter pylori using WGS in Galaxy.
    Jun 2018 - Current (8 years 1 month)
In this study, an online platform Galaxy was used for the variant calling. The whole genome sequence was selected for the analysis as it enables complete characterization of genetic variation. Helicobacter pylori Isolates KH10 was chosen as the subject of study. The quality check was done by using FASTQC. Then it was mapped to the reference genome of Helicobacter pylori using BWA-MEM. FreeBayes was used to call the variants.
