Full stack web developer
Bogota D.C., Colombia
I have been programming since 2016, I mainly master 3 programming languages: Java, Python and Javascript.
I started with Java, I used to make CRUD type desktop applications, I implemented relational databases like MySQL or Postgres. Then I learned Python out of personal interest. I learned how to use data science libraries like Pandas or Numpy to determine models, I also did a couple of projects related to AI.
Later, in 2017, I won a scholarship to study full stack web development. Back then I learned HTML, CSS, Javascript and about libraries like Jquery and bootstrap. Then I got to know React and since then I use it regularly, I also got to know SASS and MongoDB.
When I got my first job as a developer, I learned to use git professionally, use the SCRUM methodology, and implement Typescript.
During my work I have gained experience in topics such as CI / CD, handling queries with RestAPI and GraphQL, Implementation of headless CMS like Strapi, use of cloud services like GCP, AWS or Firebase. I have also been involved in QA processes, I learned about BDD and end-to-end testing with Cypress.
As I mentioned before, my strength is React as a framework, although I also use Vue and Angular. I have worked with international teams, so English is a strength for me. Despite everything I know about development, I am interested in UX / UI issues, I have designed and implemented interfaces with Figma.
