- Orbiting Reconnaissance BallAIAAMicro aerial vehicle technology is a growing field of development for the last decade. This paper is a design proposal of a miniature and compact aerial vehicle with a synthetic jet propulsion system. It will be conceived as a solution for either nondestructive inspection, search and rescue, or even medical assistance. Preliminary component design and energy balance are executed while demonstrating the feasibility of the design. Further development includes refining actual estimates with aerodynamic, thermodynamic analysis and characterization of the sability, dynamics and control of the system. In conclusion, this conceptual design is the next generation of MAV with the finest combination of aerodynamics, energy storage, and performance.
