I'm a Full Stack Software Engineer with 4+ years of experience working abroad through a Brazilian staff augmentation agency. I transitioned into the tech industry after gaining hands-on experience in management, baking, and culinary arts at my family's food business, where I worked for eight years • until the pandemic started and we were forced to close it. This unusual background along with the Graphic Design knowledge I acquired during college has equipped me with invaluable skills such as adaptability, attention to detail, a strong sense of accountability and resilience to overcome difficult times. When it comes to my experience in software engineering, I've been working within multidisciplinary teams and contributing to engineering, software architecture and user experience discussions. Digital workspace is a familiar environment for me: tools like Figma, Slack, Atlassian suite and Google Workspace have been part of my daily routine for the last couple of years. I've also had the opportunity to share day-to-day work with a lot of talented people. I believe all these things I just mentioned have taught me what it takes to be a good team member and how to prioritize quality in my deliverables.
