I am an ambitious, highly motivated, and hard-working researcher.
Neuroimmunologist specialized in the microbiome–gut–brain axis, with a focus on how microbial metabolites modulate adult neurogenesis and neuroinflammation in the central and enteric nervous system.
My work combines in vivo mouse models with human brain organoids to dissect how microbial metabolites act on neural populations.
I have led EU funded and industry partnered projects connecting gut microbiota composition to CNS health, contributing to the development of microbiome informed strategies for neurodegenerative and demyelinating diseases.
Beyond the lab, I serve as guest editor and reviewer in Journal of Neuroimmunology, championing rigorous, interdisciplinary and inclusive research culture.
Open to PI/lead scientist roles and collaborations on gut–brain axis, neuroimmune mechanisms, and microbiome targeted interventions.
