Migration of legacy financial system to the cloud
    Sep 2025 - Current (10 months)
I lead a development team in a migration project. The core goal is to translate business logic that up to now resides in legacy Microsoft SQL Server to a modern architecture leveraging Go microservices, gRPC, horizontal scaling, and abstraction of the storage layer with RDS and DynamoDB for performance and extensibility, while simultaneously hardening internal systems using AWS Secrets Manager.

  • T
    TGPiler
    Nov 2025 - Current (8 months)
A transpiler that takes Microsoft SQL Server code written in Transact-SQL as the input, generating human-readable Go code. This is useful to translate business logic that's currently captured in stored procedures to a modern architecture. The main benefit, however, is delivered medium-to-long term, as the translation is not only language-to-language, but also from a vertical scaling architecture, to an horizontal scaling architecture. For certain shapes of business logic, TGpiler is also capable of transforming plain T-SQL queries into Go code implementing gRPC services and gRPC clients.

    CARM
    Independent research
    Jun 2025 - Current (1 year 1 month)
CARM is a mechanism for enforcing concept-level access policy in transformer attention at the architectural layer. Using a taxonomic classification layer, given a filtering policy, it demonstrates the feasibility of selectively masking or blocking inference paths at the pre-transformer level, by guaranteeing that the softmax operation of a transformer always yields zero. While research continues, the development of this technique may be useful in the future to develop anti-hallucination, and hybrid deterministic/non-deterministic guarantees to solve certain security problems in LLMs at the architectural level.
