My name is Guilherme Hoffman, a professional who works in the Medical Devices segment. I am a Materials Engineer and post graduated in statistics at UFMG/ Brazil.
Currently I work as a Business Systems Analyst at Boston Scientific, where I am modeler for the MES System (Manufacturing Execution System) for control, production monitoring, of medical devices. I work on improving the system to meet the internal demands of production, as well as providing support and training for all users who use this system.
I was an active researcher in the area of Tissue Engineering with a focus on the development of scaffolds for clean meat and medical applications. I worked on a research focused on low cost structures for application as scaffolds in tissue engineering.
As part of my background, I have worked in recent years with the publication and development of two patents for the manufacture of heart valves and design methods.
I started my career working at one of the largest mining companies (Vale S / A) analyzing and producing daily performance reports based on the company's indicators.
Personally, my mission is to develop high-impact research projects that can make science more plural and generate significant changes in my social environment.
