Having lived half of my life in Costa Rica and the other half in the US has given me the opportunity to see and get the best of both worlds. The experience of meeting and working with people that speak different languages and were born and raised in very different environments has given me the chance to be fully bilingual, to gain a more global mindset and develop more cultural awareness.
While living in the US and speaking English as my primary language, I had to work with tourists and groups coming from Europe and Latin America. And now, living in Costa Rica and speaking Spanish as my first language, I've been working with students and volunteers coming from the US and from Europe. This language and cultural interrelation that I have experienced, not only at work but also in my personal life, has become part of who I am.
In addition to that, because of my past job experiences, I've developed a true passion for any type of event or package planning. This could be from social events, meetings, tours, language programs, and/or a combination of several of them. I have very good organizational skills, consider myself a problem solver and have a great ability to multitask which makes me a great planner.
