I build high-assurance Web3 and confidential-computing systems that translate blockchain and security research into production-grade implementations. My work sits at the intersection of blockchain protocols, trusted execution environments (TEEs), and privacy-preserving verification, with a focus on measurable security guarantees, throughput, and deployability.
I’m currently Chief Scientist at Trillion.xyz. I lead research and innovation for the world's first fully verifiable execution layer. Provable fairness. Zero discretion. Every operation verified as it happens.
In parallel, I’m an Associate Professor of Computer Security at the University of Naples Parthenope, where I teach “Cloud & OS Security” and supervise research on hardware-based trusted computing and blockchain. My international research experience includes a period at West Virginia University and visiting research at Technische Universität Dresden.
On the research side: PhD in Information Technology (thesis on trustworthy cloud provisioning via emerging CPU security extensions); 60+ peer-reviewed publications, ~870 citations, h-index 14; and leadership roles (PI / WP lead) across multiple EU Horizon/H2020 cybersecurity projects.
Selected experience highlights
Trillion.xyz — PoTE consensus + decentralized attestation verification across Ethereum/Solana; protocol engineering and client-level integration (Lighthouse).
Credora (formerly X-Margin) — Led the team responsible for the DeFi asset ratings dApp; designed Solidity contracts and oracles integrated with Ethereum Attestation Service (EAS) to aggregate private off-chain attestations into verifiable on-chain scores.
X-Margin — Led the team in charge of the confidential-computing infrastructure using Intel SGX, combining secure computation (C++/Python/WebAssembly) with ZK-oriented integrity patterns.
Trust Up (co-founder) — Co-founded Trust Up srl, a confidential-computing company focused on TEE technologies; built a TEE-enabled eHealth platform supporting privacy-preserving analytics and security validation.
My focus is straightforward: take advanced security and verification ideas (TEEs, attestations, privacy-preserving computation) and turn them into systems that ship, with clear threat models, strong engineering discipline, and performance that holds up in production.
