    Kojo
    Apr 2025 - Jul 2026 (1 year 4 months)
Kojo is a US material management platform for construction companies, with a marketplace integrated alongside it. I worked across the product on both sides of the transaction — building features for buyers and sellers, and maintaining integrations where some clients ran on REST and others on EDI, so both had to be supported at once.
The hardest problem I inherited was invoice scanning. Gemini was returning unreliable results, and the code that called it was inconsistent: some services went through a queue, others made a direct API call, and a failed scan would get stuck with no retry. Different clients were still on a custom model in Azure, which we were moving off. I rebuilt scanning as a standalone service with a single entry point,

Lexterai YC W Scale up Endeavor
    Jul 2024 - Feb 2025 (8 months)
Lexter.ai builds AI products for legal teams, and I worked across the product using React, Node.js and AWS. The product lets a lawyer answer a set of questions and get a finished legal document back — a petition, a reply, and similar filings.
The problem when I joined was scale. Every document type was a hardcoded form, so supporting a new filing meant writing and shipping new frontend code every time, and there were only about four types because the cost of adding more was too high. I designed a server-driven UI architecture where a form is defined as data rather than code, so the client renders whatever the server sends. I refactored the existin
  • LCode
    Senior Fullstack Engineer
    LCode
    Aug 2021 - Jun 2024 (2 years 11 months)
L2Code is a software house and outsourcing company. I was outsourced to JupiterOne, a US cloud security company, where I built and maintained modules inside their main product using React, GraphQL, Node.js, AWS and DynamoDB, across a codebase built on microservices and microfrontends. The product loads many independent modules, each owning its own slice.
The compliance module let a customer pick a framework — HIPAA, SOC 2 and others — then showed a dashboard and metrics for what was still needed to comply. The alerts and rules module let customers write their own detection logic visually, for things like being told every week if more than a certain number of users still had 2FA disabled; it ran on a SQL-like language, and the visual bu
  • AMMO Varejo
    Fullstack Engineer
    AMMO Varejo
    Oct 2018 - Aug 2021 (2 years 11 months)
AMMO Varejo is a retail chain whose point-of-sale systems were running on hardware the company needed to move away from. I created the new POS from scratch in React Native and migrated more than 100 stores to the cloud on AWS, which was the company's first real step off on-premise infrastructure.
Retail brought the hardest engineering problem. Each Brazilian state has its own fiscal system and the POS has to speak to all of them, so I built a Node.js service backed by Postgres on Elastic Beanstalk that integrated those state fiscal systems and connected onsite and online stores, making stock and sales data one system instead of two. The other constant problem was the hardware: low-end Android machines used all day by people whose job w
  • Agency Enterprise Studio
    Fullstack Engineer
    Agency Enterprise Studio
    Jun 2018 - Sep 2018 (4 months)
Agency Enterprise Studio is a US agency, and it was my first work with a company outside Brazil. I spent four months there, fully remote, on products for a clothing customization company based in Los Angeles, developing in Ionic, Angular and Node. The product let customers configure an item and see it rendered.
  • Bravi Software
    Fullstack Developer
    Bravi Software
    Jul 2017 - Jun 2018 (1 year)
Bravi is a software engineering company that works on client projects, and I was on the delivery side of a set of them. The work moved between stacks depending on the client, so over the year I shipped on React Native with Jest, Angular.js, TypeScript and Django, on both the application and the test side.
What made that year useful was the breadth. I was involved from the early stages — user studies and working out what to build — through the architecture decisions and into delivery, so I got to see how a product is shaped rather than only the part I was assigned. Being the person who could be dropped into an unfamiliar codebase and get it running is a skill I have leaned on ever since, because no two client codebases have the same ass
  • Compasso
    Oracle Commerce Developer
    Compasso
    Oct 2015 - Jul 2017 (1 year 10 months)
Compasso is a Brazilian consultancy that builds enterprise platforms, and I worked there as an Oracle Commerce developer on e-commerce projects. I contributed to more than four of those platforms, which meant both the newer builds and the long life of the older ones.
Most of the early work was frontend on Oracle Commerce, where jQuery was still the norm. We introduced AngularJS in the areas that mattered for performance, which gave users a page that responded without reworking the whole platform underneath. The part I remember most clearly is the oldest ATG Commerce installation in Brazil: a system that had been running for years, with code everyone was afraid to touch. Making that faster was a slow, careful job, and it was the kind of
  • RCA Digital
    WEB Developer
    RCA Digital
    Dec 2014 - Oct 2015 (11 months)
I played a key role in numerous client projects by modernizing development through the
implementation of Angular in the frontend, during a time when jQuery was the predominant
library. Additionally, I was instrumental in creating a RESTful API to seamlessly integrate a ticket
system with a third-party mobile app using dotnet. This initiative resulted in the client becoming
one of the pioneers in offering a ticket system within a mobile app.
  • RCA Digital
    Internship
    RCA Digital
    Jun 2014 - Nov 2014 (6 months)
I participated in a project in C# and .NET 4.5, utilizing IIS Server and SQL Server
Database for a ticket-selling website. We used TFS and Git for version control.
Additionally, we employed frameworks like Entity and Dapper for easy database
    access.

    Internship
    Globosense
    Feb 2013 - Jan 2014 (1 year)
Globosense is a Brazilian company that builds security camera systems, and I was an intern there for a year. I worked on the control system for the cameras, where the backend was Python with Django and the version control was SVN.
Two things stand out from that year. The system also had a mobile application, built with PhoneGap, which meant working inside a stack I had no experience with and getting it to talk to a backend I also did not know yet. And part of my job was writing Bash scripts to monitor the Linux server the whole thing ran on, which is where I learned to be comfortable on a Linux box rather than only in an editor. For an internship it was more responsibility than I expected, and it is the reason Python and Linux appear o
