I started to visit a personal computers´ company very young, learning how to assemble and repair these machines, and little after, I was assembling and fixing computers on my own. This knowledge allowed me to started my entrepreneur spirit. In the last two years of high school, I began to sell and repair computers to my friends. By the end of high school, I traveled to the Caribbean Sea, there I took a scuba diving course; that first experience underwater changed my life completely, I discovered my passion for Biology. Thus I was in an internal conflict deciding between studying biology or computer science. In 1999, I resolved to start the Biology program in the Universidad de Los Andes. In March 2008, after receiving my master’s title I decided to become an entrepreneur, I wanted to start a technology business in my country, which in turn became a ten years enterprise, during that time I have acquired a significant amount of experience and knowledge in business managing empirically, although learning abilities empirically is valid, I have faced several situations where the lack of academic training in the business area has become a barrier to overcome in order to develop, execute or enhance business opportunities. My scientific and academic background was significant in my formation; it prepared me to solve problems in a very structured - logical way, always trying to think out of the box to achieve it. However, these problem-solving capabilities that I possess are useful in a Bussiness context if they are combined with training in specific business and management knowledge. Thus, to complement my abilities and my experience, I applied for a Fulbright Scholarship, and after I was accepted, I choose the University of Florida MS in Management program, where I have found an ideal curriculum to get all the tools for business analysis and management, which combined with my experience and abilities, will enhance my capabilities as leader in any organization.
