I am a GIS and Data Management professional passionate about using spatial data and technology to drive conservation, sustainability, and community development across Africa.
Over the years, I’ve led spatial analysis, data system design, and mapping projects that empower organizations to make data-driven decisions. My expertise spans ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, QGIS, Power BI, and Python, enabling me to build interactive dashboards, automate data workflows, and deliver actionable insights.
As a GIS Officer at Africa Foundation and Data Manager at The Wilderness Project, I developed data pipelines and operational dashboards that visualized conservation outcomes, improved data quality, and supported strategic planning. I also built and led the GIS department from the ground up at Wild Impact, integrating spatial tools across projects.
I hold a Master of Science in Medicinal Plants from the University of the Witwatersrand, with several peer-reviewed publications and certifications in ISO 14001:2015 and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
I combine a deep understanding of GIS, data science, and environmental systems to solve real-world problems from biodiversity mapping and water resource protection to sustainable land-use planning. I’m now seeking opportunities to apply my technical and analytical expertise to global conservation, GIS, or data management roles.
