I build and scale the legal function for technology companies, from day-one foundations to the deals that drive growth, and I do it hands-on.

For 20+ years I've been the legal leader at the front edge of each new technology wave, from semiconductors and Wi-Fi to IoT, cloud, and now AI. I joined my current company as an early legal hire, built the legal, compliance, and governance function from the ground up, and scaled it through rapid growth and an IPO. I've done much of the work myself and built the team that now carries it, so I know what a growing business actually needs at each stage, and how to build a function that's lean, fast, and ahead of the curve.

I'm a business partner, not a gatekeeper: I design the complex deals that unlock revenue, am building out our enterprise AI governance program, and partner closely with product, engineering, finance, security, and go-to-market. My work spans AI governance, data privacy, enterprise and SaaS contracting, product counseling, cybersecurity, corporate governance and board advisory, and litigation and mediation.

What I care about most: the intersection of fast-moving technology and the law, and building legal teams that help a business move faster, not slower.
