I believe the future of physical therapy depends on clinical excellence, mentorship, and leaders who care deeply about people while continually raising the floor for what great care looks like.
As the founder of CJ Physical Therapy & Pilates, I’ve spent the past two decades working at the intersection of mechanical diagnosis, precise and resilient movement, longevity-focused care, and building a people-first physical therapy business.
Over the years, I’ve watched too many great clinicians burn out or stall in systems that reward volume over thinking, speed over skill, and compliance over curiosity. Leadership paths often pull clinicians away from meaningful work - or remove mentorship and support entirely.
That never made sense to me.
So I built CJ Physical Therapy & Pilates to be different.
We are a cash-based, people-first practice built on high clinical standards, advanced clinical reasoning, and ongoing mentorship. Our leaders still treat, still learn, and still model excellence. I care deeply about how care is delivered, not just how busy a schedule looks.
A core part of my work has been developing a clinical system grounded in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), blended with Pilates-based rehabilitation and regenerative technologies. Our focus is root-cause diagnosis, prescriptive treatment plans, and long-term independence so patients can truly thrive - not just chasing symptoms or relying on imaging alone.
We deliver concierge-level care to active adults who want to stay strong, mobile, and thriving well into their 50s, 60s, and beyond. Our clients become part of our extended clinic family. We take the time to truly know them, their goals, and what matters most. Care is never rushed, never handed off, and always delivered with world-class customer service
Much of my focus today is developing clinicians who want more than a just a caseload - those who want to raise standards, mentor others, lead through example, and take ownership of outcomes as they grow into impactful leaders.
I believe leadership is earned through mastery, not granted through titles. A business is only as strong as its people, which is why I continue to invest in my own growth so I can invest in my team.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, training my puppy and office dog Dozer, hiking the NH48, enjoying the Seacoast of New Hampshire, and traveling whenever I can.
If you’re a physical therapist who values standards, mentorship, meaningful relationships, and doing this work at a high level for the long term, I’d love to connect.
