Nathan Hubbard is the Co-Founder & CEO of Firebird Music Holdings. Firebird is a next generation music company that partners with a vast array of the most beloved artists on the planet to help them nurture and grow fan relationships, create amazing content, and build long lasting, rewarding careers.
Previously, Nathan was CEO and Founder of Rival. Rival built a technology platform and operating system for the world's biggest live events. Rival was backed by investment from Andreessen Horowitz, Upfront Ventures, teams from major sports leagues around the world, and tech leaders from some of Silicon Valley's most innovative companies. Rival was acquired by Ticketmaster/Live Nation in 2020.
Nathan was at Twitter from 2013-2016. As Twitter's Head of Global Commerce and Media, he was responsible for designing and executing the company's commerce and media strategies across all areas of the business on a global scale.
He joined Twitter in August 2013 after serving as CEO of Ticketmaster (a division of Live Nation). At Ticketmaster, Nathan led the team driving the transformational turnaround of the business, pioneering the integration of primary and secondary ticketing, and reaching record highs across key financial, client renewal, and fan satisfaction metrics.
Prior to the merger between Live Nation and Ticketmaster in 2009, Nathan was CEO of Live Nation Ticketing and Digital (a division of Live Nation Inc.). Nathan joined Live Nation in 2006 through the purchase of Musictoday, a DTC commerce platform for the music and sports industries, where he served as the CEO.
Nathan graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University and received his MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He was a touring and recording artist with his band Rockwell Church. He is a regular contributor to The Ringer as a writer and podcaster, a Well Member of Charity: Water, and a current board member at Gibson Guitar.
