    The Gallic Wars
    Sep 2023 - Oct 2023 (2 months)
During the summer of 2023, I read the classic book by Julius Caesar: The Gallic Wars. The reading was very interesting, but the language was old and difficult to understand. I also found myself constantly going to Google Maps to be able to understand the action.

I decided to release my own edition in which I use a modern Spanish, and it is illustrated with maps. The edition has been a complete success, with more than 150 units sold by February 2024 and selling at a rate of 1-2 books a day.

Designing a device for controlled drug delivery using nanotechnology
    Apr 2013 - Apr 2014 (1 year 1 month)
On 2013 I was awarded the Fuentes Dutor Grant. I designed a device for controlled drug delivery using nanotechnology. Nanoparticle drug delivery is a technique that is particularly suitable to treat delicate parts of the body and that should be manipulated as little as possible such as chronic diseases of the eye, where the usual technique requires continuous injection into the eyeball. This project will focus on the ear because being an internal organ makes the designing of the device more challenging.

Best Solution Write-up Authors of 2023
    Issued by Kaggle
We're thrilled to award $100,000 to the best solution write-up authors of 2023!

Open sharing after Kaggle competitions is such an important part of our community, and we deeply value the participants who contribute to the treasure trove of solution write-ups summarizing the latest ML techniques and technologies.

We hope these awards will honor the great work done this year and encourage even more publishing.

Our selection process involved first looking at the most upvoted solution write-up from every Featured and Research competition that closed in 2023, identifying authors who had repeated instances of high-quality work, then evaluating the remaining list’s work qualitatively using our quality rubric with s
