    One of the frequently shared memories is often about the prices of commodities in the times gone by; the prices are always cheaper in the past and costlier today. The purpose of sharing is not to justify price hike due to passage of time, but rather to complain about the rising prices, or rather wishing that prices were stable. Conversations and debates about price hike invariably conclude stressing the duty of the state to control the prices.
