Hi, I’m Lucas, CEO & Partner at Barrel, a CPG commerce agency and Shopify Platinum partner.

My journey at Barrel started over a decade ago as a freelance designer, and it’s been a rewarding ride, learning, leading, and growing alongside an incredible team.

We've been lucky to work with some of the most inspiring CPG brands, helping them connect with their customers and grow through thoughtful, strategic digital experiences.

I’m especially drawn to brands that focus on better-for-you foods, clean beauty, and wellness. Seeing them thrive and knowing we’ve played a part in that growth is what keeps me energized.

At home, I’m a husband, dad and lifelong learner, finding joy in taking on new challenges and finding lessons in balancing each role. Whether training for a marathon or finding new ways to build stronger team connections, I’m passionate about leading an integrated life where work and personal growth fuel each other.

I write about this balance every week in my newsletter, Borrowed, Learned, and Thought. I started it in 2020 to create a space for reflections on leadership, creativity, and living with purpose. It's been fun committing to the practice and seeing it evolve.
