    EPIK was an initiative designed to encourage young people to engage with computer programming, digital electronics and all things technical in a fun and creative way by recruiting youths and their parents to take part. EPIK helped kids and youths teach "themselves" how to code. Our events inspired and supported their natural interests and talents in focused ways around making with digital technology and coding; for example we helped kids to use their passion for playing MineCraft to explore coding with JAVA. The clubs focus was also based on helping our more introverted young people to experience community and being with other people in a fun way to help them learn how to better deal with people and group dynamics.
