At Sayari, I own the data and AI layer beneath a knowledge graph of 10B+ nodes used by compliance, supply chain, and national security teams worldwide: entity resolution, risk insights, report automation, and the infrastructure that makes all of it trustworthy when the stakes are highest. My work sits at the intersection of data and difficult compliance and enforcement decisions: sanctions, AML / ABAC, forced labor regulations, EUDR, counterparty risk. It's a natural extension of my background as an OSINT analyst focused on Latin America investigations. In this industry, trust in any data point you utilize is a prerequisite, and a single mistake can mean a missed threat with real consequences for the global economy. AI that can't be verified can't be trusted, and AI that can't be trusted doesn't get used. That's the bar I build to: deterministic vs. probabilistic tradeoffs, regulation as code, and what it actually takes to move an intelligence workflow from manual to agentic in a way that makes the analyst faster, sharper, and more accountable.
