Experienced procurement, contracts and supply chain professional with years of experience in both indirect spend categories and technical scopes (equipment, materials, OEMs, EPCs, IT, licensing agreements, goods & services, logistics) in Fortune 500 large-scale corporations, including billion-dollar mega-projects. Currently settled in Canada with a background that spans across the United States-Puerto Rico, Spain, Dominican Republic, and Colombia, I’ve had the privilege of diving deep into the optimization of corporate spend categories as well as multiyear construction projects such as the Ottawa Light Rail Train in Canada ($2.5B CAD), a Top 10 (by production) open-pit gold, silver and copper mines in the Dominican Republic ($ 3.7B USD), and the most modern refinery in Latin America, a $9B USD petroleum complex in Colombia. My journey has led me to roles where I can make a difference —whether it’s through managing key commercial end-to-end processes (including sourcing, claims and/or supply chain initiatives) and / or driving risk mitigation and managing strategic stakeholders. In addition to my hands-on experience with various CRMs/ERPs such as SalesForce, Procore, ARIBA-SAP, In-Eight, and other industry standards, I hold both an MBA and a Master in Management focused on sustainability (assessed and recognized by the University of Toronto). This academic foundation complements my practical experiences perfectly—allowing me to approach challenges with both analytical rigor (as an engineer) and a long-term vision. When I'm not immersed in work projects, I’m often volunteering for initiatives aimed at promoting sustainability and social inclusion.
