Initially, I started my business for the same reasons most other business owners will say. The idea of a flexible schedule, being in control of your own destiny, and not dealing with the glass ceiling most women face in corporate America. After a couple of months, I realized that I wasn’t going to have this great flexible schedule with lots of free time actually; quite the opposite! It became incredibly difficult to work with clients that were facing financial hardships and to not allow it to impact me. Even with the ups and downs of this economy and occasionally needing to assist with heart aching situations I still would not trade it for anything.
