He has a bachelor degree in Visual Arts from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, he also has a graduate degree in Communication Strategies and Art Direction from the Barcelona School of Design and Engineering- Elisava. He has a very rich background having worked as a filmmaker for human rights with the Ford Foundation in New York and then moved to London to work for BBC Creativity as a motion graphic designer. He moved to Barcelona where he worked several years for Larsson-Duprez where he grew from graphic designer to creative director. He got back to Colombia 9 years ago and worked as a creative director at DDB Worldwide and then at Sancho BBDO, managing the creativity for brands such as Bavaria, the Colombian government, Energizer, Avianca, Telefonica, Exito, among others. He came to Sistole as a General Creative Director and a couple of years after he was appointed to be the director of one of the business units called Brand Experience. Two years later he became the Executive Vice-President, being responsible for the entire portfolio of brands. In his time in Sistole he has been leading the main pitches where the agency has participated, and has handled personally, strategic projects that made Sistole the 15th more effective agency in the world according to the 2017 EFFIE Index. He is responsible for the strategy and creativity for brands such as ExxonMobil, Mercedes Benz, Visa, Adidas, Fritolay, Pepsi, Pernod Ricard, Turner, Procter & Gamble, Kimberly Clark, among others. Since early 2017 he is also the General Director at COLAB, a new data-driven agency, tailor made for Colombia -Country Brand. He has been awarded at the main advertising festivals worldwide and locally: Cannes, EFFIE, London International Advertising, Clio, Sol, Ojo de Iberoamérica, FIAP, FIP, El Dorado, New York Festivals, WAVE, Caribe, Nova, Lápiz de Acero, Premios P&M. He is a very untalented, but fanatic golfer and a serial entrepreneur.
